6th Mindano Film Festival

3 Documentaries. 11 Short Films. 10 Guerilla Films.

24 films will be available for viewing for the 6th Mindanao Film Fest, from December 3 – 5, 2010 at Cinema 5 at the Gaisano Mall of Davao.

The documentaries joining the film fest are “The Empowered Filipina” by Kamil Roxas, “Rhose, Where Do Your Dreams Go?” by Nawruz Paguidupon, and “This is my water” by Jeff McGary.

For the Short Films Students’ Category, the following are the MFF entries:

  • Thy Will be Done” by Kristian Somera
  • Lumon” by Leo Jeorge Bautista and Mark Nicholas Dapitanon
  • Tulay” by Zenas Harvey Apal
  • Kwerdas” by Jon Jose
  • The Red Balloon

For the Short Films’ Open Categry, the MFF entries are the following:

  • The Exit” by Genecel Laya
  • Busgak” (Rupture) by Nef Luczon
  • Ug Libud A Tu Bubungan” (I Will Go Back to the Mountains) by JP Seniel
  • Bilog” by Engelbert Pacunalang
  • Lesson Plan” by Geraldo Jumawan
  • Facebroke” by Alberto Egot Jr.

The Guerilla Filmmaking Competition features the following:

  • Bakak” (Lie) by Ronald Gary Bautista
  • Dungkoy” by Jepoy Santos
  • Sipyat” by Ronald Gary Bautista
  • Sepia” by Herman Candelaria
  • Ampon

Finally, from the Guerilla Filmmaking Workshop, the entries are the following:

  • Alone
  • Bugsay
  • Eva
  • Sagip
  • Spilled Milk
