Avenida

I am not a fan of bangus (milkfish). I don’t hate it, but I don’t eat it if not forced too. But the moment I tasted Avenida‘s Bangus dish, I fell in love with it. The fish was not dry, it was flavorful. The tomatoes, onions, and other vegetables on top were delicious. YUM!

We also tried out their Beef Misono which was tender, and tasty nested on top of flavored rice. It came with a sauce that made the dish not too dry, just the way I like it.

Last on the menu for the night was the Squisig which was sizzling squid, cooked and served sisig style. It came with copious amounts of butter sauce. That is never a bad thing.

Avenida serves good home-style meals which would be a good thing for travellers tired of over-priced fancy food.

Avenida is located at Lispher Inn along Juna Avenue, in Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao City.
