Davaoo Food Trip: Cafe Andessa

I went back to Cafe Andessa. But this time, we were hosted by Sue Ann Orig as part of the Davao Food Trip.

The Davao Food Trippers ordered Ceasar’s Salad, Spicy Chicken Wings, Laing, Callos, Crispy Fried Buntot ng Tuna, Rosemary Grilled Chops, and Chicken Lollipop. Among these, the Chicken Wings and the Chops were the big hits. I also loved the Callos, while Blogie finished off most of the Buntot ng Tuna. All of their food were home-cooked, and didn’t scrimp on the ingredients.

If it’s comfort food you want, then here’s one place you HAVE to try Cecil’s Davao. Cecil’s is primarily a bakery, but they also serve good lug lug, spaghetti, mami, lumpia, and dinuguan, among others.

Honey Bear

Last Saturday, Davao bloggers had a fun time at Honey Bear Chicken House. The food was great and as usual eating with such a great group of blogger friends made it an unforgettable experience. It’s definitely a good preview of how things are going to be during this week’s Davao Food Appreciation Tour.

Our meal started right with Cheese Sticks perfectly fried and gooey. It was served with a light chili dip which contrasted well with the cheese. It was followed by fish and chips. The fish was juicy, and tasty. Delicious!
