Davao City Gets Rave Reviews from Davao Bloggers Party Guests

The first-ever Davao Bloggers’ Party was held last March 17, 2007 at the Netfront Cafe. Needless to say, it was a rousing success. Among the out-of-town guests who came to attend were Aileen Apolo of the Google, Janet Toral of Digital Filipino, Abe “Yugatech” Olandres of Pinoy Top Blogs, Jayvee Fernandez and Eyb delos Reyes.

All of them were unanimous in saying that they had fun in Davao City and a couple even contemplated on relocating here. In their very first Band of Bloggers Podcast (BOBCast), Yuga, Jayvee and Aileen talk about the first Davao Bloggers Party, Casa Leticia, Costa Marina Beach Resort and WiFi in Davao City, among other things. Aileen also raves that Dabawenyos are easy to speak to. Eyb shares things he learned about Davao City.

Whew! Despite all the hassles and stress it caused, especially to Bloggie, I’m really glad we had the First Davao Bloggers Party. I met a lot of new people, learned a lot of new things… and got Davao City promoted BIG TIME!
