Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2015

Davao Food Appreciation Tour (DFAT) is the flagship project of a small group of Davao Bloggers. DFAT began in 2008 as a project to entice bloggers and tourists to visit Davao City and try the various food and culinary delights that local restaurants have to offer.

Davao region is one of the country’s food baskets with an abundance of fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood, affordable meals, and a wealth of restaurants offering memorable food experiences.

Every year, Davao plays host to a food and travel bloggers from all over Philippines. Since 2008, DFAT has provided exciting gastronomic experiences to its participants with fun tours and exciting adventure stops on the side. With various companies, food establishments, and the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region XI Office as partners, DFAT has grown to be one of the most anticipated blogging event in the Philippines. This year, DFAT will be from May 1 to 4, 2015.

DFAT 2015 bloggers will explore various tourist spots in downtown Davao such as Museo Dabawenyo, the Davao City Hall, People’s Park, and Aldevinco Shopping Center. Also part of the FUN Tour is Zip City where the DFAT 2015 Team can enjoy a zipline ride courtesy of Bonamine and DOT RXI.

With below zero beer from San Miguel Brewery, the DFAT 2015 Bloggers will experience Davao’s party scene.

The DFAT 2015 Team will be using Fujifilm X – A2 units and Instax Mini 8 Camera units to capture their favorite food memories in Davao. Photos captured on their mobile phones and cameras may be printed with a Fujifilm Instax Share Printer.
