Mocha Java Fagiogranita (PhP 90)

The number of restaurants and cafes sprouting everywhere in Davao City is proof of the city’s burgeoning food service industry. One of our recent discoveries is Fagioli Coffee Club. Fagioli is an import from General Santos City that opened a branch last December here in Lanang. I tried out their Mocha Java Fagiogranita and I loved it. The texture was great, it had a moderate amount of whipped cream but it was a tad sweeter than the usual Mocha drinks I drink.

Green Iced Tea, Peach Mango Iced Tea (PhP 60 each)

Kuya Andrew has tried out some of their iced teas and he loves their Peach Mango Iced Tea. They have different flavors too which you should try out. They also have a nice variation of loose hot tea flavors made of real leaves, buds and twigs.

Pasta Amatriciana PhP 140

Of course we had to try their pasta. And they don’t disappoint. Not too generous with the ingredients though. But it’s not overpriced so it’s ok, I guess. Sometimes though, only a few of their pasta dishes are available so you’d have to ask the barista what’s available before you could decide.

Pastrami Panini (PhP 70), Granchio Panini (PhP 65)

They also serve paninis. My favorite so far is the chicken. The Granchio Panini has kani sticks, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. It was ok. I would have loved it if it had more mayonnaise.

Chocolate Cheesecake (PhP 90)

And of course, a cafe is not a cafe without the great desserts. And Fagioli has a whole display ref full of them. There’s sooo many to choose from. My favorites so far are the Tiramisu (PhP 90) and the Fudge Brownies (PhP 30). Some of the stuff are quite expensive, but most of it are worth their price.

Other reasons to love Fagioli: their great comfort room, free WiFi, and free electricity to plug in your laptop. 🙂

Fagioli Coffee Club is located along J.P. Laurel Avenue, Lanang, Davao City (across Damosa Gateway, a few meters away from Swiss Deli). You may also reach them at (082)305-1168.
