Chicken Curry
Today, I had lunch with Winston at Hanoi Vietnamese Restaurant. We only paid PhP37 all thanks to the PhP1,000 gift certificate from Blogie and Jayvee.
We ordered the Pomelo Salad for appetizer, and the Bo Luc Lac which is Sirloin Beef with Tomatoes, and Chicken Curry for our main course. The Bo Luc Lac is actually one of my favorite Hanoi dishes. The beef and tomatoes are cooked perfectly. The beef was tender and very flavorful, while the tomatoes were juicy, and not overcooked. The Chicken Curry has a mild curry taste, not spicy at all.
Then, we ordered some desserts. Winston tried out the Durian Pie, which I think he enjoyed, and the Black Gulaman with Coconut Strips. Meanwhile, I had their Pandan Jelly with Coconut Milk. It was very refreshing and not too sweet.
If you want to enjoy authentic, but affordable, Vietnamese cuisine, visit Hanoi (in between Casa Leticia and Tsuru) along Camus Street in Davao City.
Hanoi is one of the reasons why I’m having a difficulty maintaining my diet!
On the other hand, Vietnamese food is quite healthy, what with all the veggies. 🙂
A good looking couple eating in a nice play and a deliciously looking blog post – perfect…

ive never heard of curry dishes served in a Vietnamese restaurant and ive been to a couple here in the Bay Area. I usually find curries of all colors and heat in Indian places though. I should give this place a try when im home in Davao. Do they have a website for their menus? Tnx.
