My Top Three Choices for Free WiFi Access

I’ve been going around the city with my laptop, availing of free WiFi Access so I can constantly stalk people via Friendster. Kidding! Here’s my top three picks (in no particular order) for best free WiFi access in Davao City:

Kasagingan
located along F. Torres Street, Davao City
Kasagingan gets my vote because not only is the WiFi access free, but the electricity usage is free as well. Their internet access is fast, their chairs are comfortable, and the food and drinks are great and very much affordable. Plus, the service is very commendable. The crew are very helpful and accommodating.

Yellow Hauz
located near the corner of V. Mapa and Mabini Streets, Davao City
Yellow Hauz gets my vote because it has the most comfortable couches. The ambiance is also great. The internet access is fast, but electricity usage is not free. You get two hours free electricity usage if you buy at least PhP200 worth of food and drinks. Or you can pay PhP50 for 5 hours electricity usage. Their crew is also very helpful.

Bo’s Coffee Club
located along F. Torres Street, Davao City
My final vote goes to Bo’s Coffee Club because the food and drinks are excellent but quite pricey. Internet access tends to be slow at times, and electricity usage is not free. You have to order at least PhP250 worth of food and drinks to be able to plug in your laptop. Some of their seats are also very comfortable, and the service is also good.

How about you? Which cafes get your votes?

  1. Batang Yagit

i’ll vote for Kasagingan (for my daytime coffee shop tambay)

Coffee Pod – Gusto ko yung high chair nila sa side.

Coppa Bossa – i like the music. Masarap ang pasta and sandwiches nila. The place is not that comfortable though.
