I’ve written more than enough about Lachi’s. Everybody knows it’s my favorite place in Davao City. Last night, I’ve had the pleasure of being treated to free dinner there by the proprietor, Mike and Melvin Aviles.
Let me share with you the photos of my wonderful free Christmas dinner there with some of my friends. For main course, we had Grilled Porkchop, Lechon Kawali, Stuffed Chicken with Pineapple Sauce, Unforgettable Grilled Pork Ribs, Laing, and Pork Marinara. For those new to the Lachi’s I recommend the Unforgettable Pork Ribs, and the Laing.

Honey Bear Chicken House
December 4th, 2007
One rainy night, me and my cousins were looking for a place to have dinner. We happened to pass by Honey Bear Chicken House along Quirino Avenue, and we decided we’d try it out. And we weren’t dismayed by our experience.
If it’s pizza you want, don’t even think about it… head on over to Picobello’s. And for good measure go there sometime between 2 pm and 5 pm. Why you ask? That’s the time of the day they have their special buy 1, take 1 pizza promo. That is why it’s our family’s favorite place for special occassions.
Staged outdoors at the Damosa Gateway, amidst pouring rain, the Fashion Evolution 2007 fashion show still managed to wow and amaze audience members as models strutted the beautiful creations of participating designers.
A Hearty Beef Stew Dinner at the Red Knight Gardens

Red Knight Gardens’ Beef Stew
The My Davao City team is a big fan of beef stew in its different kinds and forms. So when we went to have a nice, quiet dinner at the Red Knight Gardens, we decided to give their beef stew a try. And we were delighted. (That’s an understatement, I think.) It had generous chunks of beef and carrots, bits of celery, and some bread that made the stew unique… all in a delicious bowl of yummy goodness. It was delicious, and eating it made me feel as if I was home.
After dinner at Pinutos, the MDC Team was still hungry, so we headed off to Salutti within the Paseo de Habana compound. The moment we saw the place, we immediately fell in love with the place. The furnitures, the fixtures, and even the lighting are great. Read the rest of this entry »
