On July 17, 2015, the spotlight was focused on 8 Outstanding Mindanaoans. Their commonality? They have all achieved awesome feats and they are all Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). They are instruments of change in the lives of others and in their communities. Through their careers and advocacies, they have given inspiration to other PWDs and other Mindanaoans, as well.
They were given recognition during the Search for Outstanding PWD of Mindanao 2015 organized by Mr. Naprey Almario of the Behind the Rolling Chair. The Awarding Ceremony was held on July 17 at The Annex of SM City Davao. It was held in celebration of the 37th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week.
