The 2012 edition of the famed Davao Food Appreciation Tour (DFAT) had its opening salvo at the Ranchero. The Filipino-inspired restaurant served up a delectable assortment of Filipino merienda dishes.
The merienda opened with fresh and fried lumpia and pancit canton. There were also servings of the classic Filipino merienda dish dinuguan with, of course, puto (rice cake).

Cafe Marco re-launched on July 8 with a bang as it hosted a grand feast for their loyal clients, members of the media, and other VIPs. With inspired words from company representatives, the appetites of the invited guests were whetted with promises of better, more delicious, and more exciting dishes from the chefs of Cafe Marco.

Lachi’s is one of the most popular restaurants and pastry shops in Davao City. Established several decades ago, Lachi’s popularity rose when they opened up a little shop. From this little shop, Lachi’s homecooked meals and pastries have become a buzz word. The little shop has expanded into something a bit bigger and their pastries are now staples at many cafes and restaurants.
