No summer is complete without a new pair of flip-flops. And you can create your very own unique pair at the Make Your Own Havaianas Davao 2016 event. And this year, Make Your Own Havaianas is turning Japanese!

The modern flip flops made famous by Havaianas takes inspiration from the the Zori. Zoris are Japanese sandals made of fabric straps and rice straw soles. This year’s commemorative MYOH flip-flops soles pay homage to the Zori and its Japanese roots.

Make Your Own Havainas 2016 Shibori Sole

This year’s commemorative soles are Shibori-inspired. It is available in top and slim. All of this year’s limited edition pins are Japan-inspired from the pretty sakura cherry blossom to delicious sushi, there are various pins that represent the many symbols that represent Japan.
