Apo View Hotel at 65

The Apo View Hotel is the first hotel in Davao City. And now, after 65 years since it opened its doors, the Apo View Hotel is growing bigger and better.

It is now run by Chris Pamintuan, a 3rd generation member of the Pamintuan clan. The Apo View Hotel has always been a family enterprise. But this family is an extended one as Apo View Hotel and its management considers its loyal employees and clients as part of their family, as well.

As they celebrate their 65th year on March 23, 2013, the Apo View Hotel parties with a big bang with a lavish spread of tapas and cocktails will be served to their loyal clientele and guests. These will prepared by the Apo View’s F and B staff led by Chef Pablito Villanda.

The Apo View Hotel has been, for several decades, home to the hottest spots for music and entertainment. And the hotel is considered as the breeding ground for artists who have made it big in the national music scene. Some of them are Jay Durias of Southborder, Jinky Vidal formerly of Freestyle, and jazz musician Angel Balbin. These three talents will come home to the Apo View as they provide the entertainment for the festivities.

After 65 years of serving Davao City and its guests, the Apo View Hotel still looks forward to providing new offerings and exciting events for Davaoenos and the city’s visitors.

Congratulations, Apo View Hotel!
