Happy International Womens’ Day!

Google, through Google Developers Group Davao (GDG Davao) invites the women and and men of Davao to join Women Techmakers Davao this Saturday.

Women Techmakers is a global event that hope to Engineer the Future. Women Techmakers is for women in the technology industry, who aspire to be in the technology industry, and who use or wish to use technology for their career advancement and business development. It “aims to raise awareness of innovative women leaders in technology and inspire others to join the field.”

Women Techmakers is designed to enable passionate, creative women to be leaders in the technology industry. It is a showcase of women leaders in the technology industry. It curates and creates a supportive community for women to connect with each other across the globe and to be inspired and encourage each other to realize their passions. It provides women with opportunities to develop technical skills, and aid in career development and personal growth.

If you want to pursue your passions with and through technology, if you are interested in knowing how technology can help your professional and personal development, and if you are interested to know women leaders in the technology field, this is the event for you.

    It’s really great that there are more events like this. Let’s support women empowerment. A lot of jobs/ workforce in the Philippines are composed of women.
