Yellow Fin
The much-awaited Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2011 (DFAT) will definitely be bigger and better. And it will most definitely start off with a bang. Participants arriving early on May 12, will be treated to a grand spread of seafood and Filipino dishes as we eat at Yellow Fin Seafood and Restaurant.
Yellow Fin is known for serving up a “Deliciously Davao!” feast. Some of their specialties are the grilled tuna belly and tuna panga, and the crispy greaseless fried chicken. Their dishes are sure to whet the appetite of the DFAT participants.

The number of establishments offering frozen yogurt here in Davao can be overwhelming, with a few more springing up, trying their luck amidst the already stiff market. Being a confessed froyo addict, I’ve tried pretty much everything. And I have developed the uncanny ability to weed out the best froyos from the good few.
Here are my top-rated frozen yogurt places in Davao.
Coffee Cat (Rank: 1) – The first to offer frozen yogurt in the city, Coffee Cat‘s withstood its competition and stayed on top as the best-tasting froyo in Davao City.
Their toppings are generic compared elsewhere, but it’s the perfect combination of smoothness, tartness and sourness of their yogurt that won me over. The classy and sleek interiors of their store don’t hurt either. Try their excellent Yogo smoothies too.
