After winning awards from Cinema One as one of the best Cinema One Originals film, it is now nominated for multiple categories for the 2007 Gawad Urian given by the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino.

As one of the side events of the 1st Mindanao Bloggers Summit, DigitalFilipino.com and MindanaoBloggers.com are holding a Review-A-Blog Competition. The competition aims to focus the spotlight on Mindanao Blogs and Bloggers.
I’ve been going around the city with my laptop, availing of free WiFi Access so I can constantly stalk people via Friendster. Kidding! Here’s my top three picks (in no particular order) for best free WiFi access in Davao City:
Kasagingan
located along F. Torres Street, Davao City
Kasagingan gets my vote because not only is the WiFi access free, but the electricity usage is free as well. Their internet access is fast, their chairs are comfortable, and the food and drinks are great and very much affordable. Plus, the service is very commendable. The crew are very helpful and accommodating.
Q Resto: UNLIMITED Greaseless Fried Chicken, Rice and Gravy!!!

The main attraction: unlimited greaseless fried chicken, rice, and gravy for only PhP95!!! My cousins and I definitely had to try it ASAP. And so we trooped over to Q Resto at the Damosa Gateway in Lanang, Davao City last night. And here’s what our tummies feasted on…
If you want to indulge your sweet tooth, Lachi’s is definitely the place to go to. It is Davao City’s own quaint little resto.
You can start off your sumptuous Lachi’s experience by choosing one of their return-trip-worthy meals such as their Unforgettable Pork Ribs, Lechon Kawali or Stuffed Chicken. The Pork Ribs is a runaway winner with the meat being so tender that it almost melts in your mouth. On the other hand, the Lechon Kawali is so crispy that even those who veer away from pork fat, would be tempted to eat every piece of crunchy piece of fat which has just the right amount of saltiness. Finally, their Stuffed Chicken is practically CordonBleu (only much cheaper) served with a tangy pineapple sauce. They also serve adobo, tocino and grilled pork chop, among others.
Tranquility… Serenity… Privacy… These words are written on the brochure of Bali Bali Beach Resort. And that was what exactly what my relatives and I experienced when we spent a weekend there. Bali Bali Beach Resort is a quaint beach resort located in Samal Island a few minutes away from Davao City.
