Davao Cyber Expo 2007: Cyber Games Championship Day 1

Visited 668 times, 2 so far todayIt was a fun and exciting first day for the Davao Cyber Expo 2007. Gamers witnessed the Bracket A Teams face off each other in games that did not fail to disappoint. At the end of the day, Team STQ2 of Sequel won over Team Bytes-Jacinto, TC Clan prevailed over PGF, Team Sick emerged victorious over Team Anytime, and X2 battered Team 51ph.
Watch out for more updates on the more anticipated Bracket B games today.

The Davao Cyber Expo 2007: Davao Cyber Games DoTA Championships (DCE-DCG) held last July 4, 5, and6, 2007 at the NCCC Mall of Davao City was indeed a big success but marred by much problems and controversy. Organizers Kitsi Avila, Lester Avila and TJ (?) of E2 Events conceptualized the event to raise the level of gaming in the city to a professional one. Although the event may be considered as a success, it still begs the answer to the question that started it all: “Is professional gaming possible in Davao City?” I do not claim to be a veteran gamer, but I believe I can provide more than my two cents worth to this issue.
