One of our new favorite spots to chill is Club’s Bakery. We can spend hours there just savoring their pastries and coffee. Yes, we are fans of Clubs Bakery Davao.

About Club’s Bakery Davao

They have a good selection of classic French pastries and some interesting novel items. And their coffee is superb.

Their best-sellers include the classic Butter Croissant and their Pain Au Chocolat. We love the Pain Au Chocolat with it’s generous dark chocolate filling encased in a buttery but flaky pastry.  Both the Croissant and the Pain Au Chocolat go well with black coffee or black tea.

Two more favorites are their Fresh Blueberry Danish and the Lemon Cruffin. The danish had sweet fresh blueberries slightly dusted with powdered sugar. All sitting on top of creamy and light whipped cream nestled on flaky pastry.

Meanwhile, their croissant – muffin hybrid Cruffin is another buttery, flaky delight. This time the outer layers are more crispy. And the tart lemon curd inside and on top complements the pastry in both taste and texture. Plus the sugar adds a bit of sweetness and another layer of texture.

We highly recommend both.

Among their savory pastries, we have only tried their Chicken Roll and it was quite good, as well. Delicious and filling as a light breakfast meal or afternoon snack.

Coffee and more

Club’s Bakery Davao also serves savory dishes, pasta, sandwiches, and more. We have not tried those yet.

We did have Iced Spanish Latte with our pastries and it was good. It was just the right balance of bitter, strong coffee with sweet, creamy milk. It goes well with the fruity pastries.
