My primary task for the Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2009 (DFAT) is to get Lachi’s to sponsor a meal for all our blogger guests from outside Davao City. I thought it would be a hard task since well… we have many guests this year. But Lachi’s didn’t disappoint. They were more than willing to host everybody we had. So on the first night of the DFAT, 17 hungry bloggers trooped over to Lachi’s for the most anticipated meal of the tour.

Tadakuma’s Sukiyaki

For the Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2009 (DFAT 2009), our first stop was Tadakuma Japanese Restaurant. It was Davao’s first chance to impress our blogger guests from Manila. And they (me also) were definitely not disappointed.

The Xcelerator: The Longest Zipline in Asia
I am no outdoors person, and I am deathly afraid of heights. But I was super excited to trek up a mountain to try out THE LONGEST, FASTEST, and HIGHEST ZIPLINE IN ASIA. The zipline ride is located at the Outland Adventure, a few minutes ride away from downtown Davao City.

Mamu’s Restobar
Filipino home-cooking is common and easy to find, so it’s hard to find one that really impresses one’s palate. Mamu’s Restobar has the look and feel, the ambiance of a fine dining restaurant. Their menu, however, consists of Filipino dishes and recipes cooked and served with a twist.
