Aulsons Cafe opened their biggest brand at Juna Subdivision. We have been seeing their “Opening Soon” signs. So when they opened, we just had to try their offerings.
Savory Menu
They have an extensive savory menu, including a special brunch menu. (See the complete Aulsons Cafe Menu below.)
We have tried the Aulson’s Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese. This is a good starter or a light meal.
Among their sandwiches, we have tried the Romesco Grilled Cheese, the Teriyaki Slaw, and the Beef Burger. All three are good. And the serving size is big. Definitely, filling. We also love the potato chips served as a side with some of their dishes.
The best part about these sandwiches is defitely the breads, especially the brioche bun used for the Teriyaki Slaw and the Beef Burger. Soft and buttery.
For their mains, we have tried the Peri-Peri Chicken and the Pulled Pork. Both were ok. We’d like to go back to try their pasta, the brunch menu, and other other specials.
Desserts and Breads
As mentioned, their brioche bun is fantastic. So are the sourdough and focaccia that we have tried. Always fresh, we assume.
But our favorites from Aulsons are their Mocha Cakes. We have tried both the Mocha Tres Leches and the Mucca’s Buttercream. And we cannot pick which one is better than the other.
Look at the Mocha Tres Leches.
Mocha Tres Leches
Honestly, better than most Tiramisus I have had. Technically, it is not a Tiramisu. Duh. But the layers of mocha cake, cream, and cocoa powder certainly taste and feel close to a good Tiramisu. If you love mocha and all things coffee, you have to try this. – Ria *
This is so light and airy with a good amount of mocha flavor that is sure to wake you up.
And the Mucca’s Buttercream is also really good.
Soft, airy layers of mocha cake are complemented by mocha buttercream as both filling and frosting. If you want straightforward,uncomplicated, a good old mocha chake, order this.
We also enjoyed both the Triple Dark Cocoa and the Iced Spanish Latte we have tried.

Visit and Dine at Aulsons Cafe
Aulsons Cafe in Juna is expansive with two floors, multiple function rooms. This is a good option for a get together, a dinner date, or even a quiet time alone reading or working.
They are located in Benjie Street (in between 1st Street and Cesario Street), Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao City.
